Meet the Team

  • Dr Jackie Robb

    Dr Jackie

    Jackie is passionate about emergency medicine and surgery, having completed her veterinary degree at Murdoch University and her Graduate Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care through the University of Melbourne. For the past six years, she has managed a busy emergency hospital, where she also worked as an emergency vet before starting Port City. Her career began in medical research, where she was completing her PhD in infectious diseases before transferring to Murdoch to complete her veterinary degree. She has a very boisterous dog named Nala, a Geraldton special she adopted while working there. She also has a cat named Lady Blanche Forrester, whom she adopted at her previous job.

  • Dr Sam Jameson

    Dr Sam

    Meet Sam, with a passion for providing emergency care, he thrives in the fast-paced environment of emergency veterinary medicine. He completed an Emergency and Critical Care internship at an emergency hospital and has undertaken extensive continuing education in emergency and critical care. Before starting Port City, he spent the last 5 years at one of Perth's premier veterinary emergency centres. Outside of his demanding work, Sam finds joy in fostering kittens, offering them a loving temporary home until they find their forever families. His expertise, combined with his compassionate nature, makes Dr. Jameson an invaluable asset to our community and a trusted caregiver for your beloved pets.

  • RVN Jaimee-Louise

    Dr Sam

    Sam graduated from Murdoch University in 2007. He then worked in various small animal general practices in Western Australia and New South Wales.  Sam owned a successful small animal practice in Sydney for 7 years, before relocating back to Perth. He has worked in emergency and critical care since 2017. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge in treating and managing small animal emergency and critical care cases. He resides in Perth with his two cats, wife and two kids, not necessarily in that order.

  • Jaimee-Louise Mcdermott

    Jaimee-Louise Mcdermott

    Meet Jaimee, with over nine years of experience as a veterinary nurse and an additional three years as a wildlife carer, Jaimee brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to every patient she cares for. She has a particular passion for emergency and critical care nursing and thrives in the fast-paced environment of emergency medicine, providing expert care when animals need it most.

    Her experience working with both companion animals and native wildlife has given her a broad skill set and strengthened her commitment to delivering the highest standard of care. Jaimee particularly values building strong relationships with both her patients and their families, supporting pet owners through every stage of their animal's journey. She treats every patient as if they were her own, taking the time to earn their trust and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

    Outside of work, Jaimee enjoys spending time with her young daughter, who keeps life busy, fun, and full of adventure. Her compassionate approach, combined with her extensive experience, makes her a trusted caregiver and an invaluable member of the Port City team.

  •  Rehina Wilson

    Rehina Wilson

    Since graduating in 2007, Rehina has built an extensive and diverse career within the veterinary industry, taking on roles ranging from veterinary nurse and senior nurse to nurse lecturer, outreach veterinary nurse, practice manager, and emergency and critical care nurse. Her passion lies in being part of a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to delivering the highest standard of compassionate care for every patient.

    A strong advocate for animal welfare, Rehina is particularly passionate about improving access to veterinary care for animals in remote Western Australian communities and hopes to continue contributing to outreach programs in the future. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her four cats, fostering neonatal kittens for a local shelter, staying active at the gym, and going for runs. Her wealth of experience, commitment to patient care, and genuine compassion make her a valued member of the Port City team.

  • Sharyn Crabb

    Sharyn Crabb

    With over 30 years of experience as a veterinarian and the last eight years dedicated to emergency medicine, Sharyn brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Port City team. She enjoys the fast-paced and rewarding nature of emergency small animal practice, where every day presents new challenges and opportunities to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families.

    Known for her calm and caring approach, Sharyn is passionate about providing high-quality emergency care and supporting both patients and owners through difficult situations. Her extensive experience and commitment to veterinary medicine make her a trusted and valued member of the team.

    Outside of work, Sharyn enjoys spending time with her family, caring for her two dogs, and riding her horse. She has recently completed several endurance rides, combining her love of animals with her adventurous spirit.
